New Article on Culturally-Based Services for AI/NA Young People

Drawing from three qualitative studies and utilizing community-based participatory methods, Pathways' Finding Our Way project and collaborators found that the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) supports AI/NA youth in positive transitions to adulthood with culturally-based interventions.

Portable, Stackable Credentials

Stackable credentials hold the promise of enabling young people to "learn and earn" by building up credentials incrementally over time while advancing in a career field. This paper gives a broad overview of the stackable credential movement and describes frameworks that could produce educational reforms that will help youth advance in today's demanding labor market.

Scaling Stackable Credentials

This paper considers the policy and implementation of stackable credentials into career pathway systems for youth in Kentucky, Oregon, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Interviews with state officials and staff from select community and technical colleges in these states offer insights about the best practices and challenges in developing stackable credentials.
