Online Training Modules for Service Providers
Promoting Positive Pathways to Adulthood is a series of 10 free online training modules for service providers who work with transition-age youth. These modules are designed to increase skills in engaging and supporting youth and young adults in the transition years who have mental health challenges. All modules were updated in 2019 to incorporate new research findings and resources. A brief description of the content of each module is available in our informational brochure.
Each module is accompanied by a reference and resource list, a glossary, a transcript, and practice exercises to help participants with applying skills in situations similar to those they encounter in their work with youth, young adults, and families.
Participants will be able to download a certificate for one hour of continuing education credit (CEU) or a certificate of completion for each successfully completed module. NOTE: CEUs will be offered for completion of the modules until September 30, 2020.
Two additional resources are available to complement the Online Modules: the Pathways Transition Training Toolkit, designed for use by work teams, and the Pathways Transition Training Toolkit version 2, a self-study guide for individual service providers. These toolkits invite participants to apply their learning to practice in their local context with practice scenarios and video segments and exercises for further exploration of topics.
